Easy Grape Sangria

How can you not love Sangria? It’s perfect for any party. Any occasion. Best of all no matter what recipe you find, you can tailor it and tweek it and make it your own signature drink.

First you’ll need to choose your wine. I picked a Shiraz for this one. No particular reason, really, I just felt like choosing something different than the usual Cab Sav I use for Sangria recipes.
(If you’d like to do a white wine, I think a Pinot Grigio would be a good pick for this recipe)

The night before I pour my wine into a large pitcher or bowl. Next I chop up two granny smith apples, rough chop a half of a large bunch of red grapes, and slice the other half of the grapes.
The apples and rough chopped grapes go in the bowl of wine, get covered with plastic wrap, and sit in the fridge until the next morning.
The sliced grapes go in a separate bowl, and get drizzled with a light coat of honey.

The next morning I strain my wine. (Instead of throwing the fruit away, I use it in an adult jello salad)
Now I add my honey drizzled sliced grapes, and stir. Pour into a pitcher or bowl for serving.

And? You’ve just made an incredibly easy Grape Sangria.
CHEERS!!
